New Year’s Eve

New Year’s Eve…
 
8 – 10 years ago my idea of fun would have been starting the night with a power hour. Taking shots every time the song changed.
 
Then we would move on to some pre-bar tippy cup.
 
Then head down to Log Jam or Johnnies to ring in the ball drop with shots of gin, icing myself, Miller Lites, and probably a bunch of other shit.
 
Then I would wake up on New Year’s Day feeling like I power-bombed through a table by the Dudley Boyz!
 
This is how my New Year’s Eve went from age 19 – 28.
 
I don’t miss those days.
 
I don’t miss being a pile of crap!
 
Now, my idea of fun on New Year’s Eve is staying in and doing what I do every other day…
 
Eating good meals.
 
Training hard.
 
Playing video games.
 
And going to bed at 8 pm!
 
Although tonight, I will stay up a little later because of the Packer game (I hate night games).
 
The late-night partying, drinking, and destroying my body was no way to live.
 
I needed to change.
 
And that change has helped bring me to the life I am at today.
 
A life I actually enjoy.
 
Feeling good.
 
Moving better.
 
Stronger.
 
Healthier.
 
Looking better.
 
But change doesn’t just happen.
 
If you want change in your life you need to make it happen.
 
Don’t talk about it. Do it.
 
Sick of being sick and tired?
 
Want to look better and feel better?
 
You control this!
 
Don’t wait until tomorrow, New Year’s Day!
 
Start right now on New Year’s Eve!
 
Start giving your body what it wants and needs.
 
If you want to continue down the path that I was on, go ahead. That is your choice.
 
But if you want to be better, you can!
 
You are capable.
 
You are strong.
 
You can change.
 
If I am capable, so are you!
 
Now you just need to make it happen!
