Making Changes

When you are starting to implement fitness and nutritional habit changes there are different things you can do to help the process. Making changes can be hard if you do not know where to start or have an idea on what to do. Below are some tips to help make the process of change easier.

  1. Start small. Pick one poor health or nutrition habit you currently have and switch it with a better choice. For example, switch the can of pop you drink at lunch with a glass of water. Do this for a few weeks at a time and eventually it will become a habit.

  1. Move more. Get more movement in your daily life. Go for a walk when you get up, on your lunch break, or after work. Better yet, go for a walk all three of those times per day. Get a workout in or do some yoga.

  1. Sleep. Getting better sleep will improve all aspects of your life. Don’t worry about all these so called experts talking about biohaking your health. The best hack for your health is to sleep!

  1. Hire a coach. Hiring a coach can help inspire you and keep you on track. A good coach will hold you accountable and assist you in developing a plan to make the changes you want.
