3 Tips To Gain Energy

The alarm rings. You groggily pull off the covers and slug your way to the bathroom to take a shower and get ready for the day.

You grab a bagel, get your thermos filled with coffee, and head out the door.

You struggle to keep your eyes open on the drive to work.

You struggle to keep your eyes open at work.

So you grab another cup of coffee.

And another.

And another.

By the end of the day, you are exhausted.

You get home and your kids ask you to go outside and play.

But…

You are too tired.

You don’t have the energy to keep up.

So you just lay around watching TV all night.

You end up disappointing your kids and are disgusted with yourself because you don’t have the energy to do what you love.

1️⃣Sleep – Getting 7+ hours of quality sleep is key to giving you the energy needed throughout the day. Skipping sleep is not a badge of honor. It is a badge of stupidity, yet you probably do it. Make sleep a priority.

2️⃣Eat well – A nutrition plan consisting of whole, nutrient-dense foods will give your body the nutrients it needs and keep it energized throughout the day. Eat protein, carbs, and fats.

3️⃣Train – Exercise shouldn’t be a punishment. Exercise should give you energy and make you feel better. Training 3-5x a week like an athlete will help you build endless amounts of energy. Want more energy throughout the day? Train in the morning.

Do these 3 things consistently for months and years then you will be on your way to all-day energy so you can enjoy life to the fullest.
